Purpose of the Job 4 W" Y5 M  d2 T+ f( CA. Sales Engineer Role (for downstream Fine Chemical & Pharma markets) 1. " E5 X  M) e6 v! w" KTo take primary responsibility for sales of dry vacuum pumps and liquid ring . @; [8 J8 X1 \1 W7 C. ? vacuum pumps to downstream fine chemical & pharma customers in China. 6 ]1 ~0 f' g" P2. 6 d2 @3 R! STo research potential customers, make introductory promotion visits, carry out 6 r- x- u0 X) z" ~0 U/ Stechnical & commercial negotiations. 3. 9 q7 M$ u2 C1 N! tTo motivate and support appointed distributor(s) to achieve set budget targets. + V8 Z" e2 x, u# R" w' _- u B. Applications Engineering Role 9 x( x" \2 [! S$ ^4. 5 G) I  k( c8 k! M2 [To provide technical, product and applications self support and to customers and distributors for primarily dry vacuum pump and liquid ring vacuum pump systems, but also other process vacuum systems. $ P1 Q+ H2 V: }0 w6 S$ [5. To select vacuum pumps and propose system design for chemical process vacuum pumping applications. 6. To provide technically correct & commercially valid quotations. / S+ w  ?# D- [1 C1 C( h( ^ Knowledge, Skills and Experience " J4 e0 R* o9 `) h 2 V! \0 S  E% o, d9 O7 W& ^1. 3 I# p" a5 J1 N  F/ y( [A degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline. 2. Detailed knowledge of vacuum pumping systems, chemical processes or rotating machinery and their applications gained through at least 3 years experience of a similar role. 6 M: j  r  D0 \; l 3. The ability to specify and design a vacuum pump package to meet a given set of process conditions. 4. Analytical techniques and computer literacy. 3 ~3 Y  B+ h$ E  }4 n% ` 5. ) z( o- s- G: \  i" x, y3 t0 xStrong written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin & English are essential. 2 x5 @" k1 P% K+ c+ U6.
